I added fire-roasted tomatoes and served over some thinly sliced, grilled polenta. Excellent main course dish for a meatless dinner! Delicious and will make again. - 3/6/08

Everybody, including my 3 year old liked it. I can't resist messing with any recipe, so I added a cup of chopped tomatoes, some ground black pepper, and I used only 1 tbsp. of the oil - that was more than enough - otherwise I think it would have been greasy. - 1/16/08

Hi folks, I'm new to these recipes, but one thing has me stumped. Each one gives nutritional info per serving, but how am I to know how much is in one serving? - 1/14/08

I saute the garlic and spinach and I added onions as well until the spinach is slightly wilted then added the beans since they are already cooked. Delicious! - 1/14/08

I found this kind of bland and the beans seemed mushy. I'm not sure what I did wrong, but I don't think this ine is for me. - 1/13/08

Great Combo. I'd probably use the entire 10-12 oz. package of spinach and make due with only 1 Tbsp. olive oil. - 3/4/09

Pretty good. I like spinach, but I think the amount of Chickpea was a little more than you needed. I also added some mushrooms. - 3/4/09

Absolutely horrible. Spinach was soggy and limp and there was hardly any flavor. - 3/21/08

Oh I just tried this for the first time, and I love it! I might add some extras to mine next time... maybe mushrooms to see how that goes. Really good, easy to do which is also a plus for me :) - 1/19/08

The addition of some red onion and fresh cracked black pepper helped move this into the "This is a keeper" range for me. - 1/10/08

My SO and I both love this and have made it twice already. I threw in some crushed red pepper as I was sauteeing to add a little punch to it, and that worked out great. Thanks for posting this yummy recipe that gets some vegetable into my system! - 5/28/07

I'm having this tonight, together with lupine burger (lupine is highly proteic, with no cholesterol and a good fibre rate!). Vegan, healthy and filling! :) - 12/2/14

This was delicious! For those who thought the spinach was too wilted or the garbanzo beans were mushy/grainy. You cooked it too long. I added in baby bellas, roma tomatoes, lots of garlic, and a squeeze of lemon juice and it was awesome! Taking the leftovers to work tomorrow. :) - 4/16/12
