Healthy Granola (or bars)

Ingredients
2 1/2 c old fashioned oats1 c whole wheat flour1 t baking soda1 t vanilla4 oz unsweetened applesauce2 1/2 T flaxseed1/4 c honey1/3 c packed brown sugar4 oz slivered almonds
Directions
Preheat oven to 325. Lightly grease one 9 x 13 pan for bars or jelly roll pan for granola. In a large mixing bowl combine all ingredients adding nuts last. If making bars press into 9 x 13 pan or spread out on jelly roll pan loosely. Bake for 20 minutes and cool for 10 then cut into bars. Let cool completely before removing and storing. Makes 24 bars or servings (measure out)
