Very Good. I used stew beef, trimmed of fat, browned it first, and removed it from the pot. Then I sauted the onions and garlic, returned the beef , added the broth and water, then simmered the beef for 3 hrs. Added the rice, mushrooms and peas and simmered another 30 min. - 2/22/09

It seemed to lack in taste. Needs something to "ump" it. - 10/27/07

I had trouble finding wild rice and what I found was very expensive. I used half long grain rice and it was excellent!!!! - 10/18/07

I too found it lacking in flavor even though I added less water than the recipe called for. It was ok I would try again but I would have to tweek the recipe. - 2/4/13

My fiance liked it, he added more onion and hot peppers. Not too much taste. I do get frustrated with what is a serving? - 5/22/11

Serving needs to be quantified. Pls specify how many grams or cups = 1 serving. Stating 6 is not helpful. I didn't make the recipe, so I could not divide up the pan into 6ths. But the recipe was close to what I had for dinner, and I had one cup. Is 375.6 correct or incorrect calorie counting? - 7/7/09

This was great! I used a long grain and wild rice with herbs mix from the grocery store, which gave it a great flavor!
We switched the frozen peas for a can of french cut beans, and also used 2 broth cubes mixed with 2 cups of water.
I had to boil out the left over water at the end, but delicious! - 10/21/07

I found I had to add a lot to make this a full meal. Added green beans, red green yellow peppers, and some basil to spice it up a bit. - 10/18/07
