Don't give up the fiber, potassium, and thickening power of the bananas...freeze them beforehand for extra thickness. Added flax seed is good, as is a scoop of rice or soy protein powder-or add a handful of ground almonds for additional protein. This is a good basic recipe! - 7/12/08

I Loveee this drink, but I put peaches and cherries in mine at different times and it is very good. It's a good breakfast drink. I took it to school where I teached and let 2 other teachers try it and they love it also. So we bought a blender and we make them every morning. Thank you for sharing. - 1/10/09

It was good, but I only had strawberries and raspberries. I think it would have been even better with blackberries too. It was a nice after dinner treat on a hot day. - 8/14/08

A good recipe. I don't like ripe bananas but love the banana a little green so it's firm and has a different flavor. Would be great in this. - 7/10/19
