Ingredients
1/3 cup quick oats2/3 cup water2 Tbsp raisinsdash saltsplash of skim milk (optional)
Directions
Put all ingredients except milk in microwave safe bowl. Microwave on high for 1.5-2 minutes. (My favorite setting is 99 seconds... !) Stir well. Add skim milk to thin, if desired.

    Really good...I added a Tsp. of Flax Seed for more Fiber and used Cranraisens. Best part is not having to wash the sticky pan from stove cooking. So it's not gummy, the splash of milk is needed after cooking. - 1/29/10

    It is great with half a banana cooked with the oats.
    The banana sweetens it and then I add a quarter cup of cottage cheese and stir. Extra protein. Add ground flax seed, way to go. Pat in Maine. - 10/3/16

    Easy to prepare. I did use Old Fashioned Oats, as that's all I had and it cooked up just fine. Easy clean-up and liked the single serving portion. Can see substituting other dried fruit for the raisins, too. - 7/21/10
