Lentil Tomato Paste (Altered)

Ingredients
* Olive Oil, 0.5 tbsp * Onions, chopped, 1 small * Garlic, 3 cloves, chopped * Lentils, 225 grams * Tomatoes, 3 medium whole, minced * Salt, 3 dash * Hot Chili Peppers, 2 pepper, chopped * Oregano, ground, 1 tsp * Water, 3 cup * Cinnamon, 1 tbs
Directions
Pour olive oil into a medium-large pot over medium-high heat.
Add onion and garlic and cook, stirring often until the onions are tender and translucent.
Add tomatoes and water.
Stir through and add herbs and lentils.
Simmer on medium heat, stirring occasionally until the extra water has evaporated, and the sauce is thick (approximately 20 minutes)

Serve hot over whole wheat pasta.
