the raisins contain 248 cal. for 1/2 cup, they are high in natural sugar content. I usually omit them, and I also try to get unsalted ingredients. I know the No name bite size shreddies has less salt. A great addion instead of the pretzel stick is stir fry noodles{dry kind]. - 9/11/08

Use Pam spray instead of butter (a couple of sprays to make the garlic powder stick) and you can increase the serving size to half cup with only 4g of fat and around 250 calories. You may have to reduce the cooking time and watch it in the oven - without all that fat to cook in they crisp quicker. - 9/11/08

244 cals for 1/4 cup! not for me, i'd rather spend my cals on a little more food. - 9/11/08

I loved this snack. I made it your way first. Then got creative and instead of garlic, I used honey, with a touch of lemon juice. - 3/10/09

I used to to love them, but don't eat them now. I want to lose weight. A serving is so TINY. Who wants a fourth cup of anything so good. - 3/10/09

Nice little snack. I added a lot more garlic, but played with some of the ingredients to cut down on the calories. - 10/1/08

Not sure that I will make this, the calorie count is awfully high for just 1/4 cup serving. Sounds really good , though. I like everything that is included in it. - 9/11/08

Just out of curiosity--how do you even eat 1/4 cup of something that includes pretzel sticks? How do you measure it? - 9/11/08

Great! But I love rye chips, so I had to add them and for the pretzels, I added half regular pretzels and half Snyders honey mustard pretzel pieces. So good. - 3/10/08

I liked it but think I will play with it some and try to add some "W" sauce - I can't say or spell it so I'm not even going to try! - 6/8/09

I made this for a party, but admit I felt guilty because of the high calorie count. I'll play with it to see if I can change the ingredients to reduce the calories but keep the taste. - 4/6/09
