I do not use wine or other alcohol in my cooking, I would just use water if I needed more liquid and I would substitute lobster for the squid and also substitute brown rice for the white rice. - 4/25/08

Loved it! I've been switching it up with different veggies. Yummy, thanks! - 1/30/09

Unless you like overdone seafood and raw veggies, I'd suggest doing the veg first, seafood after. Shrimp & scallops take literally 2 minutes to cook!
Other than that, it sounds good. I'll give it a try. - 4/25/08

I just don't think you can go wrong with this. I do also suggest doing the veggies first and then removing before you cook the seafood. I added snow peas and water chestnuts along with chili paste to my scallops. Wonderful...no soy sauce needed and I really like soy sauce. - 6/23/11

This is very similar to a stir fry we make - but we use peppers and onions in addition to the squash - and I don't use the soy sauce - it's yummy and easy to make! - 6/19/10

This sounds great, and I LOVE squid, so can't wait to try this one out! For non alcohol cooks, use rice wine VINEGAR. - 4/26/08

I love shrimp; and squid is great if cooked right if not its very chewy. I will probably lose the scallops tho and sub in crabmeat for them. - 4/25/08
