Mongolian Beef from LG Dump Meals Set

Ingredients
2 lb. Beef chuck roast 1/4 c. soy Sauce 1 Tbsp. minged garlic 1/2 tsp. ground ginger 1/4 c. brown sugar1/4 c. water 2 Tbsp. corn starch(Optional Green Onion Garnish)4 green onions 1Tbsp. soy sauce 1 Tbsp. olive oil
Directions
In slow cooker, combine chuck roast, 1/4 c. soy sauce, garlic, ginger, brown sugar, and 1/4 c. water. Cook on low for 8-10 hours.

Remove meat from liquid, remove excess fat, and shred meat.

In a small sauce pan, whisk together 2 Tbsp. corn starch plus 1/4 c. water. Add about 1/2 c. of cooking liquid from slow cooker. Stir over medium heat until mixture bubbles and thickens. Return this thickened mixture to slow cooker with remaining cooking liquid, and stir well. Use this sauce over shredded meat.

Green Onions (Optional)
Heat olive oil in skillet. Cut green onions into 2" pieces. Add onions and 1 Tbsp. of soy sauce to hot oil. Stir for 2 minutes, then serve green onions with shredded meat and thickened sauce. Can serve over cooked rice or noodles (calculate nutrition info for rice/noodles separately).
