I found a recipe similar to this in a healthy cookbook. If you lower the peanut butter content to just 1 tbsp, and add 1/4 tsp nutmeg, it's tastier and has less calories. :D Good suggestion! - 7/2/08

Great fast breakfast....for all you folks that always have a few bananas go to waste...just remember to peel them cut into chunks(size of ice cubes) and freeze...never waste another banana and be ready to blend up a smoothie on a moments notice. - 1/19/10

Excellent! Super easy to make. I used a frozen banana, 1Tbsp. peanut butter and a sprinkle of cinnamon! It was like a treat for breakfast! - 9/16/09

I had a sliced banana in the freezer, so I used a 1/2 cup of frozen banana. I also halved the peanut butter & added "Cinnamon Plus."
It was really tasty. A nice breakfast. - 10/31/09

I am new to blenders and blender goodies. I was interested in something simple, fast and tasty and not overloaded with calories, cholesterol and sodium. This absolutely fills those requirements :) - 12/3/09

Great way to start the morning. Tastes so yummy even my 8 year old liked it. It is very very filling so don't be fooled by the small amount that you are given. - 3/18/09

I had some Chocolate Silk Soy Milk that needed to be used. Made it "bowl-licking" good! YUM! - 9/8/08

I make mine with Silk Vanilla Soymilk, 1Tbsp of PB, and a really ripe banana ( I keep in a baggie in the freezer). - 3/5/09

This was delicious! I had my 6 yr old son taste it & he was leary at first. Then he started liking it after a couple of sips. 374.4 calories isn't bad. Sparks has me on a 338-420 plan on certain days even. All depends on ur plan. U have to eat to lose. Bananas, peanut butter & skim milk. Perfect! - 6/19/08

Loved this! Great summer breakfast. I pack my breakfasts full of protein, so this was PERFECT. 374 cals. isn't too bad, I work at a summer camp, so I am constantly on-the-go all day long. YuMmY!
I added 6-8 ice cubes to mine to make it a bit thicker. It also makes it feel like I'm "eating" more - 5/27/08

I tried this recipe this morning. I modified it a little. Instead of the non-fat milk i used 8th continent light soymilk, 1 tbsp pb, 1/4 tsp cinnamon and 1/4tsp nutmeg. It was delicious. It's probably my favorite smoothie thus far. - 1/10/11

I made this with Better n Peanut Butter and with Almond Breeze instead of milk. That lowered the calories to 249. I enjoyed it much more than I expected to, actually! I am going ot try it with nutmeg next time, which sounds good, too. Love nutmeg (-: - 4/13/10

It's very good. I am always looking for something a little high in calories than what I usually go for which is 200-300. I don't get enough calories in the morning and I am always low on protein. This is great and I will make it again and again - 2/11/10

I just tried this for the first time and I LOVE it! It is quick and easy which is perfect for me since I am pressed for time in the mornings. This is a perfect way for me to get a healthy breakfast with an energy boost on time. Thank you! - 1/12/10

Of course with the excellent MUFA (mono-unsaturated fat) of Peanut Butter it's going to sustain you quite awhile. I like the feedback of cutting down on the amount of PB to reduce the calories and add cinimon or nutmeg for more flavor. - 6/8/09

Do you use reduced fat peanut butter in this or regular? - 3/5/09
