I didn't have any dry onion soup mix and I'm just not a red wine person. I added a cup of low sodium vegetable broth and 3/4 cup of white wine and it turned out yummy. I poured the juices over boiled new potatoes. Next time I'll try it with the soup mix as suggested but will keep the white wine. - 11/16/12

I used Worcestershire sauce, added a some Mrs. Dash, left in the crock pot for 5-5 1/2 hours, which really made it fork tender. however i think i will skip the red wine sauce next time. I can still smell the wine , very little but im not a big wine drinker so. Husband like it very much, 2 servings - 11/3/09

Did not like the soy/red wine flavor combination. Definitely would not make this again. - 1/19/10

Super. This needs 9 hours on low, so 4 on HIGH! No need for the soy sauce. It is plenty salty with just the onion soup sachet. I swapped the wine for 2tbsp port. - 6/15/12

This was good. I had it with brown rice. I found it to be a little too salty (I used low sodium soy sauce). I think I will try it again and omit the soy sauce all together. - 11/12/09

Oh so good. Dishes like this make me glad none of my vegetarian phases ever stuck. I had a hard time not just eating it straight out of the crockpot. I kept it in for an extra 2-3 hours on low so it would be more tender just fall right apart. Served it over brown rice. - 11/8/09

A hit with the family! The only who griped a bit was my older son, who said that it tasted too salty. So, I think I'm going to keep an eye out for low-sodium dry onion soup mix. - 3/13/14

Mmmmm....delicious. Made exactly as written, except that I browned the tenderloin in about 2 tsp olive oil before placing it into the slow cooker. Pork was so tender we made pulled pork out of it. Served it with Near East Pearled Couscous and a green salad. - 1/12/13

This sounds good and I am going to try tomorrow (without soy to keep sodium down, plus not big fan), but I was thinking it might be nice over spaghetti squash that I just bought to try to use instead of pasta, since it's in season and so easy. That's my suggestion for making it a full meal! - 10/6/09

Loved it! It was even better the next day on a salad with Kraft Fat Free Zesty Italian dressing! - 1/14/09

didn't have the soup mix so subbed with diced onion and a beef bouillon cube-- also pre sliced pork into 4 ounce chops before adding for easier portioning after cooking - 5/17/21

Dry soup mix is too much sodium for me, I used broth and my own spices. It turned out well. - 7/16/20
