Chicken Spaghetti Sauce

Ingredients
1 28 oz can of crushed tomatoes1 14.5 oz can diced tomatoes1 8 oz can tomato sauce1 tbsp olive oil3/4 cup chopped onion1 tsp garlic powder1 tbsp dried oregano1 tbsp basil1 tsp sugar2 chicken breasts, cut into strips or use 8 chicken tenders
Directions
In a medium saucepan, heat the olive oil over medium low heat. Add the onions and cook until tender but not brown. Add the garlic, oregano, and basil. Cook for a minute more. Add the canned tomatoes. Stir. Add additional spices/herbs if necessary. Bring to a light bubble (not a full boil) and add the chicken. Continue to simmer until the chicken is cooked through. Add the sugar if the sauce tastes too acidic.

Cook up your favorite pasta and serve!! Makes 6 servings. Calculations are for sauce only.
