Joan’s Angel Hair Pasta w/Clams

Ingredients
4 oz Barilla Angel Hair Pasta1 Tbsp Bertolli Extra Light Olive Oil3 cloves Garlic, minced1 can (142 grams) Chicken of the Sea baby clams w/liquid6 oz Chicken of the Sea chopped clams w/ liquid1tbsp dried parsley flakes1-2 tsp red paper flakes (to taste)
Directions
Strain clams and reserve juice. Cook pasta according to package directions. While water is heating, prepare sauce. Mince garlic. In a medium sauce pan sauté garlic in olive oil until fragrant and slightly brown. Add remaining clam liquid, parsley flakes and red pepper flakes. Cook on medium - medium high heat until sauce is reduced and thickens. (If additional liquid is needed, add pasta water a tablespoon at a time until desired consistency is achieved). Strain pasta and add it to sauce and toss to coat pasta. Serve with freshly grated Parmesan of Romano cheese. Mangia!! Serving Size: 1-2 servings
