asian tilapia with rice

Ingredients
4oz Tilapia filet1 green onion or scallion silvered1 tsp ginger root chopped1 clove garlic chopped1 tsp soy sauce1 tsp canola oil1 cup brown rice cooked
Directions
place tilapia on piece of foil in a steamer (bamboo or metal) in a pot with 2 inches of water under it. layer on the garlic and ginger. put the lid on the steamer an cook for 10 minutes until the fish is done. will flake easily. take off the stove and place the foil sheet with the fish and juices on a plate. place the onion silvers on the fish. heat 1 tsp of oil in a small pot until smoking hot. add the soy sauce to the fish dish and drizzle the hot oil on top. this will sizzle dramatically. serve the fish on the rice with all the sauce collected on the foil. this makes 1 serving but can be multiplied easily.
