Delicious! I modified it a bit, using ground turkey breast (99% fat free), Low-Sodium V8 (10 oz) instead of tomato soup, and Hunt's No-Salt Added tomatoes. That gets it to about 175 calories and under 100 sodium per serving! - 10/23/12

OMG I love cabbage rolls and this WAS WAY easier to make and AMAZING!I simmered mine for about 45 min. on medium heat! Added a whole tomato, didn't have diced in can! Used half can of mushroom spaghetti sauce cuz i didn't have tomato soup! Added more S & P! Will make a million more times! TY! =) - 2/17/10

This is a favorite in our house! We make it often. So much easier than wrapping the meat in the cabbage leaves! Thanks for sharing! - 7/24/10

WOW WOW WOW.... even my horribly picky 4 year old ate this! I cooked it in the slow cooker and it was great to just put everything in the crock pot and eat 6 hrs later! Just as good as the stuffed variety! - 5/6/10

This was pretty good, I really am not a fan of cooked cabbage, but figured Id give it a try, I doubled the recipe for the whole family. Not only did I like it, the hubby and kids enjoyed it as well. - 9/5/12

i am not sure where i went wrong, but this makes to my eyes many more than 8 servings. but it was delicious, and easy to make. i will try it in the crock pot next time if i think far enough ahead. i subbed instant brown rice also as i read of undercooking problems with long grain white. - 10/9/11

This was delicious!! I cut the recipe in half cooked it on low heat for about an hour, the rice absolutely needed the extra time. Even cutting the recipe in half it served 6. My husband and I shared this with our neigbors, they loved it too :) - 5/10/10

Love this. I usually use 3/4-1 cup of rice. Have used whole grain brown rice when I didnt have long grain rice. I also use 2 cans of Rotel tomatoes. I used spaghettini sauce once and Spicy V8 another time when I didnt have tomato soup. 1 1/2 TBS black pepper and garlic powder and 1 TBS Paprika. - 2/7/21

I used more hamburger and rice, I used a can of diced tomatoes flavored with garlic, oregano, and basil. I also used smoked paprika and added some beef bouillon to harmonize with the tomatoes and the tomato soup!!! Also added garlic, oregano, and basil. Turned out awesome the whole family loved it! - 9/9/18

Good sized portions and filling! I felt it needed a bit more zing. Next time, I will try cayenne instead of paprika (and cut the amt by half). - 2/23/18

I didn't have the tomato soup so I subbed Prego traditional spaghetti sauce (filled empty 14.5 oz can to about 1/4" from the top). Cooked it on stove, used ground beef; I'm happy to report the entire family liked it enough to add it to our meals on a regular basis. - 2/13/18
