Me and my sister made these yesterfay and we made them again ! They were sooo goooood! We used extra virgin olive oil instead of cheese and ommited the nutmeg. They were sooo good though and really low calorie:) - 12/13/11

I cannot believe how delicious this is... And so quick and simple! Wow, thank you for a great recipe! I have followed the advice given in the comments and have reduced the cooking time a lot. The fries were perfect. - 10/14/12

    These were so good!

I made mine the size of fast food french fries, but I only cooked them for about 10 minutes on each side. I also substituted paprika for the nutmeg and added cayenne pepper. Yum! - 3/27/11

Purdy darn good!!! Think I need to make bigger slices like someone else said. Mine shriveled tiny and were hard to get off pan even with nonstick. Don't let them get cold, not as yummy, but still goooood!! I have two more turnips from my co op and will make 2 more times. - 3/19/11

These taste amazing, I did however, have some that got too done so I need to either cut them larger or not cook as long. I'm buying lots and lots of turnips next time I go to the store. - 11/11/09

Loved these! We sprinkled these with lime juice, which complemented the turnip perfectly. Now I'll turn-up for turnips! - 9/28/09

My entire family LOVED these (even those of us that arn't turnip lovers)... i will be making these again forsure - they'd be amazing in a taziki sauce or a smokey chipotle sauce, perfect for an appy/snack. - 7/14/09

For what they are--these are fabulous. Don't expect them to taste like potatoes but man-o-man are they fabulous tasting on their own. Used Olive Oil, salt, pepper, parmesan, pinch Italian seasoning, and a sprinkle of garlic, onion, and celery powder. Cooked for an hour and got some crispy ones too - 3/28/19

I love to eat turnips so this dish is right on the mark. Instead of using nutmeg and parmesan cheese I simple added parsley, rosemary, thyme, cayenne etc just like regular home fries and it did not disappoint. I'll try the parmesan cheese the next time I make this dish, and there will be a next time - 4/28/17

This was the first time I think I have even HAD a turnip in my mouth. They were GOOD! Would most likely use a "chunky"-er Sea Salt next time for a stronger flavor, but this will become a staple in my house! - 7/30/10
