I used a 24 mini muffin pan. I used a little olive oil to wet the wontons. I put them in the mini cups and I baked them a few minutes till brown. I left them open like little pockets. Ifilled them and baked about 6 minutes more. The were great. pawleysgirl - 1/19/09

This recipe looks unhealthy... 4 g of fat for 2 wantons! No thanks on that bridge to nowhere. Good job on everyone else's suggestions to make this better though! sub turkey instead of pork; bake steam or boil, not fry; add fiber in the form of vegetables; use egg whites only. - 4/26/10

I make these quite a bit, for parties, or just for a fun easy snack. Try adding some fresh ginger and substitue ground turkey for the pork. An easy quick dipping sauce: soy sauce, mint jelly, sesame oil and a dash of hot chili oil or hot sauce.

This is very good.Instead of the green onions ( my mom can't eat them ) I used a package of frozen mixed vegetables and chopped them up really small. It was still very good. - 11/25/08

Like the idea I didn't fry it I sprayed a 1/2 sheet pan with butter flavor and put them on the pan and sprayed the tops and baked till crispy. Was the star of our New Years day get together. - 1/3/08

its good but I left out the pinch of salt. Soy sauce is very salty and you really don't need that pinch. Olive oil is best but cannola can be used. - 1/3/08

Would like to try this one using ground turkey and steaming or gently boiling them. Just need to make very certain that the edges of the dough are sealed well. - 4/24/10

Sounds good. Do you cook the meat before putting inside the wonton wrapper? - 11/23/08

Love this recipe. It turned out really well, even when I couldn't find Won Ton wrappers. I used puff pastry in that instance. Still very easy and good! - 2/24/09
