Maple Apple Acorn Squash Bake

Ingredients
1 Acorn Squash, halved, seeded2 small apples, seeded, diced, divided1 tsp AllSpice, 1 tsp Splenda, 1 tsp Cinnamon,2 tsp I Can't Believe It's not Butter, divided2 tsp Maple Syrup, divided
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Clean Acorn Squash and 2 small apples.
Divide Squash in half and remove seeds.
Remove seeds and stem from apples, then dice.
Sprinkle the diced apples with Allspice, Splenda, & Cinnamon. Stir to mix.

Fill each half of Acorn Squash with half of the apple mixture. Dot each with 1 tsp of I Can't Believe It's not Butter. Top each half with 1 tsp of Maple syrup drizzled over the apples.

Place the two halves in baking dish. Add 1/2 cup of water in bottom of dish.
Bake 45 minutes to 1 hour in 350 oven. Should be fork tender.

    Its in the oven now. I used McCormick "apple pie spice" mix instead of allspice, cinnamon separately. I also used Land O Lakes Cinnemon Sugar spread (same calories, but 1/3 sodium as Can't Believe Its Not Butter). I used a diced granny smith apple. Can't wait to taste it. - 12/18/11

    I don't know how else to rate this, I wish it turned out! I followed the recipe EXACT. After 45 minutes my apples were getting burnt but the squash was still firm. At an hour my squash still wasn't done and the apples were dried. Was really bummed. - 11/6/11
