We add tomatoes, garlic, sea salt and pepper with olive oil. It is excellent and very colorful. - 11/28/09

I make this same recipe, it is so tasty, except I do it in the oven at 450 degrees Farenheit instead of broiling. - 3/11/10

This was fantastic. I have tried several ways to make asparagus and this was by far the tastiest and easiest. WIll make again and again! My hubby and kids hated asparagus until this one, I knocked it out of the ballpark with this recipe! - 2/16/10

I loved this and so did my 4 year old. I added red bell pepper strips and baby bella mushrooms and it was awesome! - 1/9/08

This was my first time cooking asparagus and I eat without salt, so I substituted Mrs. Dash for salt and added lemon juice. Yummy! Will make again and again! - 3/11/10

Very nice, but could be more flavorful. I added some garlic, maybe I'd put more in next time? Nice asparagus anyway - thanks for the receipe! - 9/28/09

Yum! I also make okra and green beans the same way. I was shocked that the okra does not come out slimey. I'm finding I have an affinity for broiled veggies!!! - 11/18/08

I am so glad that I read the reviews for this. It is a GREAT recipe for asparagus. Now I want to try other veggies prepared the same way (I'm thinking red peppers, snow peas). This is so easy and is just wonderful. Will be a standard in my kitchen when I can get good asparagus! - 2/11/08

Thanks for the great recipe. This is the easiest way ever to make asparagus...and asparagus is supposedly a good food to counteract water retention. - 1/4/08

Good but wow - that's a lot of black pepper - at least for my taste. I WILL be making this again, but I will hold off on using so much black pepper and maybe substitute lemon pepper. - 3/18/11

Very tasty. Will definitely make again. I did 450F for 15 minutes instead of the broiler. - 6/15/13

I make this outside on the grill. Only I use olive oil spray, lower fat grams. I'm gonna try this in the broiler. I love charded veggies cold on my salads too. Great instead of a meat. - 2/20/13

I roast/bake my asparagus rather than broiling - 400 degrees. If you want to avoid salt, toss in the oil and a generous sprinkling of Mrs. Dash original flavour. Roast for at least 10 minutes. In my opinion, the toastier the asparagus, the more delicious. And I hate vegetables! - 6/25/12

I did in the oven at 450--very good! And I used the ziplock bag so less oil. Used fresh ground pepper and salt. - 2/24/12

I only used 2 teaspoons olive oil and it was plenty. Wow his was great. Will definitely cook this way from now on. - 2/7/12

FYI-Asparagus will automatically BREAK at the correct spot if you bend it. It's a very 'helpful' vegetable, that way! :-) - 3/31/11

This is my asparagus go-to: quick, easy, and very very tasty. I sometimes mix it up by using an olive oil spray to cook, then coating the cooked asparagus with 1 teaspoon butter, 1 teaspoon balsamic vinegar, and 1 teaspoon soy sauce. - 3/22/11
