Mousse a la Banana

Ingredients
2 tablespoons 1% milk 4 teaspoons sugar 1 teaspoon vanilla 1 medium banana, cut in quarters 1 cup plain low fat yogurt 8 1/4-inch banana slices
Directions
1. Place milk, sugar, vanilla, and banana in blender. Process 15 seconds at high speed until smooth.
2. Pour mixture into a small bowl; fold in yogurt. Chill. Spoon into 4 dessert dishes; garnish each with 2 banana slices just before serving.
Yield: 4 servings--Serving Size: 1/2 cup

Incredible! I always have plain, nonfat yogurt on hand and this mix was truly delightful. I also enjoy making a fruit dip/sauce on the same order usiing mango pulp. I made it using toffee low fat yoghurt and sweetener not sugar and it was delicious! Also if you can make a fatless sponge with splenda and use that as a base in individual dishes, its a yummy pud, dont forget to leave it in the fridge for a few hours before eating if adding the sponge base. - 10/29/08

It was a very easy recipe to make. The banana added a slightly different flavor. At times I thought I was eating strawberry yogurt and then I would recognize the banana. The rest of my family did not like it and that was because of the plain yogurt. They just can't get past it. I will do it aga soo - 11/17/08
