1 TBSP of vegetable oil1/2 Cup of Green Bell Pepper Chopped1 Cup of Onion Chopped2 tsp of Tabasco Sauce2 Cups of Chicken Broth1 Cup White Rice (instant)2 Cups of Red Kidney Beans (drained and rinsed)
Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil over medium heat. Add onion and green pepper and cook until tender. Add tabasco sauce, beans, and broth and bring to a boil. Stir in white rice. Reduce heat to low and cook for additional two minutes. Remove from heat and serve

The way it's written, there's not enough water to cook the rice. I added 4 cups water. The rice, even instant, needs to cook longer than 2 mins. - more like 10. There was no seasoning in it so it was bland. I added 2 tsps. of italian seasoning, used brown rice instead of white, and chard chopped. - 7/9/15
