-1/2 lbs. round steak (I use deer); salt and pepper; 2 tbsp. oil (I use olive oil); 2 (8oz) cans tomato sauce; 1/2 cup of each chopped onions and green peppers; 1/2 cup water; garlic; bay leaf
Brown steak in oil, sprinkle with salt and pepper, add other ingredients. Cover and simmer 1-1/2 hours until tender.
