Tuna Noodle Cassarole

Ingredients
3/4 bag of whole wheat egg noodles2 cans of tuna in water (drained)3/4 package of frozen peas (thawed)1 can reduced fat cream of mushroom soup 1 jar of mushrooms (drained)1/2 package 2% milk cheddar cheese1/2 cup skim milksalt and pepper to taste
Directions
Heat oven to 375 degrees. Cook egg noodles as instructed. Mix together all ingredients but cheese in large cassarole dish. Bake for 25 mins. Remove dish from oven and sprinkle cheese on top. Cook for another 5-10 minutes or until cheese is melted. Enjoy!

    This was good. I replaced the cheddar cheese with a Italian Blend cheese. Half the cheese I blended into the casserole and mixed the other half with the bread crumbs. - 9/4/12

    Instead of peas I added finely chopped leeks and celery. Also I blended the cheese into the casserole and brown seasoned bread crumbs on the top as the finishing touch. - 7/22/11
