Thanks for sharing this. I make something similiar, except DH will nor eat egg substitute, (neither will I, LOL), so we use real Omege 3 eggs, also DH cannot eat turkey because of gout, so we leave out the turkey, and use Canadian bacon - also we use low fat cheddar cheese, Very Yummy! - 11/13/09

Have just looked at recipe for 1st time & have a suggestion to make morning prep faster. Night before, scramble eggs & vegetables until egg isn't quite done. Next am place shell, mixture & cheese on plate. Heat in microwave.

Or at least have all your vegetables cut up the night before. - 11/17/09

I often have the veggies leftover from the night befores dinner ( I even cut up extras so I'll have some and put them awa in the fridge so noone sees them) and it really helps in making a faster prep time. Thank you KBUCKMASH for your great suggestions.

I would really love to try this, but before I can I have to know: out of 10.7g of total fat, only 4.6g are accounted for on the nutritional breakdown. Do you know where the other 4.6g of fat are hiding? (I generally forgive a 1 or 2g discrepancy, but one that large raises red flags for me. help.) - 11/17/09

At the moment I do not know, but will check all my ingredents and see. Thank you for catching this, I never noticed that before.

Eliminate sausage, use egg SW substitutes, 1/4 cup chopped veggies, onions, spinach, non-fat cheese, salsa and I use Mrs Dash southwest chipolte seasoning when cooking the eggs, an OLE high fiber tortilla (12 gms) low carb (5), warm tortilla in micro for 18 secs, fill. Chop veggies ahead & store - 1/5/10

Delicious recipe! I don't eat meat, so I used Boca's meatless sausage links- a great substitute for vegetarians that want to make this! - 12/29/10

This is a great recipe for whenever you are feeling extra hungry. My husband and I have this often and it keeps us going until time for our next meal.
I often exchange the sausage with deli ham chopped in large pieces. Also, I use american sandwich slices if I don't have cheddar. - 5/17/10

this recipe is easy enough to make changes to, guess that is why I like it so much, ENJOY!

Sounds delicious and healthy - but I'd go for a nonfat and leaner sausage option, way less cheese (and nonfat) and healthy wholegrain wraps instead of regular flour tortillas. - 11/5/09

THANKX for the review of my recipe, I used a Tortilla Factory, Whole Wheat Low Carb Tortilla in my recipe. My son likes the pork sausage and extra cheeses so I give a little for him on that. It is versitile, so you can change or adjust anything you might want to.

I spent Twenty years in the Army, and, as a result, ate a BUNCH of powdered eggs. I will NEVER eat another one. How about including the numbers if you use REAL eggs. Brie - 5/17/10

I have never frozen them, they seem to be eaten up so fast at my house.

Thank you for a recipe which uses turkey as I'm not a beef or pork eater. It sounds delish and I'll have to use it on the family in the morning. A piece of fruit will top it off. Looking forward to it! - 5/17/10

Just a suggestion: Use a La Tortilla Factory low-carb whole wheat tortilla for additional fiber and taste. It's probably much lower in calories as wel. - 11/4/09
