Ingredients
cabbage 1 pkg1 cup chopped green onionroasted almonds 1- 3.75 oz bag1/4 cup vegetable oil1/8 cup sugar1/2 tbsp soy sauce1 tbsp red wine vinegarramen noodles 1 pkg chicken or vegetable
Directions
combine cabbage, green onion and almonds together in big bowl.
Brown crushed dry ramen noodles and seasoning in butter or oil set aside until served.
combine oil,sugar, soy sauce, vinegar together.
pour over cabbage mixture and chill or serve immediately. add noodles before serving

    Altered it by adding fresh ground ginger and lemon juice to a couple tablespoons of asian salad dressing. Halved amount of almonds and added a couple T sesame seeds. Toasted the nuts and seeds, not the noodles, but maybe next time I would! Also, I used half the packet of the ramen seasoning.

    i loved this but i did alter it for my families taste. i made this without the onions and halved the almond amount and added sunflower seeds. Also I didnt brown the ramen noodles. - 7/31/07
