Introduction

Number of Servings: 16

Ingredients

    2 bags shredded cabbage
    1 medium bell pepper
    8-10 green onions

    3/4 cup slivered almonds
    2 pkgs.Chicken flavored Ramen noodles
    1/2 cup sesame seeds

    Dressing:
    1 cup vegetable oil
    2/3 cup sugar
    1/3 cup rice wine vinegar
    1 tsp. black pepper
    1 tsp. salt

Directions

Put the first three ingredients in serving bowl (you need a large one).

On the stove brown crushed Ramen noodles, almonds, and sesame seeds in 2 tbs. of olive oil or margarine until lightly browned. Cool and sprinkle with one seasoning packet. Place in a separate container than the salad.

Mix the dressing ingredients and store until ready to serve. Just before serving toss all three mixtures together. Make sure you mix the dressing well before pouring it on the salad.

    Wow! So good!!! I used a red pepper. I also mixed the dressing in beforehand and let it chill for several hours before serving. This was amazing slaw! - 7/21/10

    Wow! Someone finally found a good use for Ramen noodles! I threw out the flavor packets, they all taste like pure salt to me, and put a little bit of garlic in the dressing. - 4/5/10

    This was really good. I fixed it for my Husband and I . He just love it. He took some with him on his trip. - 8/19/20
