cauliflower Gratin with almond crust

1/4 cup butter1 head cauliflower (about 2 1/4 lb)1 small onion2 garlic cloves minced2 TBSP flour2 tsp fresh thyme1/2 tsp salt1/2 whipping cream1 cup 4 oz shredded Gruyere cheese2/3 cup Panko bread crumbs1/4 cup sliced almonds1/4 cup parmesan cheese
1) Preheat oven to 400. melt butter in a large skillet over medium high heat. Add cauliflower and next 2 ingred; saute for 10 minutes or until golder and just tender. Sprinkle with flour and next 2 ingred; stir well. Remove from heat.
2) Spoon cauliflower mixture into an 11 X 7 baking dish, and drizzle with cream. Sprinkle with Gruyere and next three ingred.
3) Bake at 400 for 18-20 minutes or until golden.
