Crock Pot Cube Steak and Gravy

2 lbs cube steakssalt to tastepepper to tasteflour (for dredging)1 ounce package onion gravy mix10.5 ounce low fat cream of mushroom soup2 cups water
1. Salt and pepper the steak to your taste, then dredge in the flour.
2. Fry steak until brown and place in crock pot. (can skip this step, with no change in taste or outcome).
3. Add water, soup, and gravy mix.
4. Cover and cook on low 6 to 8 hours.
5. Serve with mashed potatoes or rice (optional).
