Ingredients

* Granulated Sugar, 0.25 cup
* Cornstarch, 1 TBS
* Salt, 1/4 tsp
* Egg Yolk, 2 large
* Heavy Whipping Cream, 1 cup, fluid
* Milk, nonfat skim, 1 cup, fluid
* Vanilla Extract, 1 tsp
Directions
makes roughly 40 - 1 tablespoon servings
-mix sugar, cornstarch and salt together is 2 qt sauce pan
-in a bowl, using a wire whisk beat egg yolks with heavy cream and skim milk
-beating constantly with whisk, pour egg/cream mixture into sugar/cornstarch in saucepan
-continue beating over low heat and sauce is smooth and thick . DO NOT BOIL
-remove sauce from heat and mix in vanilla extract
-pour into bowl ,cover with plastic wrap touching surface of sauce (to prevent a skin) and chill in refrigerator
- to serve, spoon over dessert
