OK, I am a bit confused, how does this calculate to 2.5 points for a 1 cup serving. Cool whip, fat free is 1 pt for 2 tbls and the whole container 8oz is 25 servings so that would make the whole container to be 25 pts, the jello for the whole box is 4 pts = 29. What am I not getting?
Its great. I first tasted it when my mother made it and lost the recipe. I'm so glad I found it again. It goes over really well at parties and is asked for frequently by those with sugar concerns and those without.
We LOVE this dessert! We've also made it with cherry gelatin and sugar free pie cherries. YUM!
It's tagged as low carb (the light blue box above your list of ingredients). Got my hopes up until I saw the carb content, lol
You could make this lowcarb by using no sugar added mandrian oranges and sugar free whipped topping.
I made this with Strawberry Jello, Vanilla Pudding & Strawberry Cool Whip (it wasn't fat free..but all I had on hand) and it was SO good! Oh, I also folded in fresh strawberries. YUMMY and so easy to make:) Endless flavor combo possibilities!
