This turned out so much better than I expected. I didn't use cream of chicken soup, I used a can of chicken broth. I eliminated the butter. I used fat free cream cheese.I added a small bag of sweet baby carrots and 3 red potatoes during the last 2 hours of cooking. It was a real hit in my house! - 1/29/09

It was awesome. I used chicken tenders, used the 98% ff cream of chicken soup and 1/3 less fat cream cheese with chives and onions. I left out the butter and I added a can of black beans during the last hour of cooking. I served over brown rice and it was great. A definite keeper. - 6/5/10

Very yummy! The chicken turned out very tender. I shredded the chicken and served it w/ a generous helping of the sauce over pasta. One note: make sure to soften the cream cheese before mixing, otherwise it doesn't blend into the sauce well at all (as I found out the hard way!). - 1/9/08

Even better the second time around! This time I used Perdue's Perfect Selection pre-marinated Italian seasoned chicken breasts and wide egg noodles. - 8/18/07

This was really good! Chicken was so tender and had grat flavor. I did omit the butter, to save on fat/calories but it was still fantastic! - 2/23/08

This is an awesome recipe. My family loved it so much that I thought I would make it for a family reunion. I quadrupled the recipe and had plenty of food for 50, and everyone loved it. Thanks for the great recipe!!! - 6/26/07

This was so good. The recipe says mix everything together in a bowl & pour over chicken, instead of mixing I just dumped It all in the crockpot together. It made the chicken extreamly juicy & tender. I'll be eating the leftovers for lunch today. - 3/22/18

OMG - this is going into my regular meal rotation! Used whole, skinless breasts and only 2T roux, no other butter, reg. c of mush soup + 1/2c finely diced onion - added baby carrots & mushrooms last hour. Next time I'm trying cream of aspagus version - this DOES taste like you're cheating!!!!!!!!!! - 1/28/13

This was really good. I omitted the butter and only had 6 oz. of cream cheese - some chive and onion, some low-fat regular. I added 2 wedges of laughing cow garlic and herb, onion powder, and garlic salt. Spooned over rigatoni. - 1/10/13

I'd qualify my good by saying to make it great I added 2 cloves of garlic, carrots and zucchini and served it over whole wheat penne pasta. It was another hit for the whole family. - 11/3/12

Added broccoli and mushroom with 2 hours left to cook and served over whole grain noodles. It was really delicious and the family enjoyed it - even the kiddos who typically turn their nose up to my cooking. :) - 4/24/11

Wonderful. Omitted the butter, added carrots and mushroms to the mixture, and about 1/2 cup extra water. So easy to make. Served over brown rice. - 7/12/10
