Creamy Italian Crockpot Chicken

2 lbs chicken breast, boneless, skinless1/4 butter, melted1 cup low fat cream cheese w/ chives1 can Campbells Golden Mushroom Condensed Soup1 pkg Good Seasons Italian Salad Dressing Mix (0.7 oz) 1/2 cup water
Cut chicken into strips in put in crockpot.
In a bowl, combine remaining ingredients and stir until blended.
Pour over chicken.
Cook on low for 6-8 hours.
Served over pasta or rice.

This turned out so much better than I expected. I didn't use cream of chicken soup, I used a can of chicken broth. I eliminated the butter. I used fat free cream cheese.I added a small bag of sweet baby carrots and 3 red potatoes during the last 2 hours of cooking. It was a real hit in my house! - 1/29/09

It was awesome. I used chicken tenders, used the 98% ff cream of chicken soup and 1/3 less fat cream cheese with chives and onions. I left out the butter and I added a can of black beans during the last hour of cooking. I served over brown rice and it was great. A definite keeper. - 6/5/10

OMG - this is going into my regular meal rotation! Used whole, skinless breasts and only 2T roux, no other butter, reg. c of mush soup + 1/2c finely diced onion - added baby carrots & mushrooms last hour. Next time I'm trying cream of aspagus version - this DOES taste like you're cheating!!!!!!!!!! - 1/28/13
