Asaro (Yam Pottage)

Ingredients
Ingredients: *Yams, 1 cup, cubes Plantains, 1 cup, mashed Mackerel (fish), 50 grams *Peppers, sweet, red, fresh, 0.5 cup, chopped Olive Oil, Extra Virgin, 1 tbsp Lemon Peel, 1 tsp Salt, a pinch Water, tap, 1 cup (8 fl oz) Vegetables, Mixed Salad Greens, 0.5 serving(s)
Directions
Pour 1 cup water into the saucepan and bring to boil, add crayfish, chopped peppers, lemon peel and the fish. Allow to simmer for 5 minutes. Add the yams and cook for 7 minutes or till soft. Add the mashed plantain and the pinch of salt. You can add other seasoning as desired, lastly add the oil and stir together. It should come out thick. Serve hot with chilled mixed salad greens.
