CSR Recipe1 cup Plain Flour1 cup Rolled Oats0.75 cup Desiccated Coconut0.5 Tsp Ground Cinnamon0.75 CSR Demerara Sugar125 gm Butter3 tbsp CSR Golden Syrup0.5 tsp Bicarbonate Soda
1. Preheat oven to 160 deg C (140 dec C fan forced). Line Baking Tray with non stick baking paper.
2. Sift Flour into large bowl, Stir in Coconut, Cinnamon & sugar.
3. Combine Golden Syrup & 2 tbsp of water in a small saucepan. Stir over medium heat until melted. Stir the bicarbonate soda - the mixture will bubble. Remove from heat immediately. Pour butter into flour mixture, stir until combined.
4. Roll Heaped Tablespoons of mixture into small balls. Place on lined trays about 5 cm apart. Press with base of a glass to flatten slightly. Bake until golden brown app 18-20 minutes.
