Stuffed Green Pepper Casserole

16 oz Ground beef, extra lean (15% fat) pan broiled 1 cup, chopped Onions, raw 3 serving 1 Med. Green Bell Pepper 1 tsp Dried Oregano (by ARCTIC.ORCA) 2 serving Dried Thyme - 1/2 Tablespoon (by CLARE19751) .5 serving Diamond Kosher Salt (1 tsp) (by LISDAWOP) 1 tsp Pepper, black 2 serving Brown rice (1 cup cooked) 3 cup Canned Tomatoes 4 oz Mozzarella Cheese, part skim milk
1- In a skillet start to brown the ground beef. While the beef is browning chop up the onions, add to the beef and cook until slightly softened about 5 min.
2- Add peppers, garlic, all of the seasonings and rice. Sautee for an additional 5 min. Add the crushed tomatoes and stir well.
3- Pour into 9x13 casserole dish and top with cheese.
4- Bake for 40 min covered, uncover and bake for an additional 5 min or until the top is browned.
