This is just like my recipe, except that I use oats instead of crumbs. I also double everything so I can have plenty of leftovers. One more thing - no flavor is lost and a lot of vitamins are added if you add a very well drained and squeezed out package of defrosted frozen spinach. - 4/13/09

This was terrific, although I made a few changes.....used oats instead of breadcrumbs, barbeque sause instead of ketchup and added a few green peppers and fresh mushrooms to the mix. My husband & I both loved it & will definitely make again - 5/10/10

Awesome!!! When I blocked butter and oil from my diet, I added spice...I truly enjoy lots of different spices. Especially hot pepper flakes! - 6/10/10

My husband and I both LOVED this recipe. We had one serving left the next day and we fought for it. I had been dreaming of a meatloaf sandwich all day and I won! Next time I will make two. I did add a chopped green pepper to the mix which was yummy. - 1/10/09

I made this recipe last night and it was great. I omitted the onion salt and just added the onion. I also added Italian spice and used a barbecue glaze on top. - 9/3/08

Excellent and very tender. I substituted 1/2 cup oats for the breadcrumbs and cut back a lot on the cayenne. My family loved it! - 8/18/08

I substituted homemade salsa (recipe to come!) for the ketchup, homemade Italian breadcrums, forgot the onion salt, and added barbecue sauce as a glaze for the last 10 minutes of cooking time. This recipe was AWESOME and I will definitely be using it again! - 7/17/08

I put in just a teaspoon of brown sugar and fresh garlic instead of powdered and it was YUMMY. Intended it for just me and my hubby, then unexpectedly had three guests over, and it made just enough! - 10/4/12

loved the meatloaf but made a slight change. I cut the cayenne by 1/3 because I was afraid it would be too spicy for me and it worked out just fine. Thanks - 2/15/19
