I made this into a hoagie! I found whole wheat, low carb hoagie rolls at Publix and tore out some of the middle, spooned in the sausage and peppers, topped with fat free mozzarella and I was in heaven! Next time, I'll spoon the leftovers on pasta! - 3/28/09

I ran out of time and had to cook this in the crock pot---HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Everything just melts together for such a powerful flavor. - 4/2/08

This is so good. I used Johnsonville Smoked Turkey Sausage today. Sometimes I use my own homemade venison sausage or my chicken/turkey sausage. You can't go wrong with this recipe. Plus, it's so easy! - 1/26/09

This was sooo good! I could only find Sweet Sausage so I added some red pepper flake to the dish while it was cooking and it turned out great! Served it with some whole grain penne! - 1/15/09

I've never made sausage and peppers before but I will be making this recipe again soon. I used the hot turkey Italian sausage links, red peppers, and zesty tomatoes. Yummy! Thanks for a low cal treat. - 2/27/09

My husband loved this! He made sure I was gong to keep this. Its even better when you put the left overs in the fridge and have it for lunch the next day. I used spicy sausage and it had a big kick! - 6/17/07

Surprisingly tastey, with so few ingredients. I replaced the hot links with Turkey kiebasa. It was great. I will make this again. - 9/23/11

This was delicious!! We love sausages any way and this was a very good way to have them. We cut up the sausages into rounds and served over wild rice. Other than that we didn't change a thing. - 9/1/09

I skipped the peppers. I don't care for their taste. The sausages were good. The sauce was good later. - 1/7/20
