I found this helpful... thought someone else might too.In my recipes, how do I substitute Egg Beaters for whole eggs?
For recipes, simply use Egg Beaters as follows:
4 whole eggs = 1 cup Egg Beaters
1 whole egg = 1/4 cup Egg Beaters
1 egg white = 2 tbsp Egg Beaters

Egg yolks has the good fats... so I'm keeping my French toast healthier, using real eggs. - 7/18/15

I make this all the time but when the french toast is finished cooking, I top it with a half cup of sugar free applesauce then stick it in the microwave to heat it up. I put cinnamon and Splenda on top before eating. It is one of my very favorite "diet" breakfasts!!! - 3/15/09

I skipped the Splenda - vanilla gives it plenty of sweetness. Also used light whole wheat bread. Excellent breakfast. - 5/10/14

Tastes good i used whole eggs and omitted the splenda. i put mine in the oven at 425 for about 8minutes . I doubled the reciepe and ended up with 6 slices of bread and still had a little of the mixture left over. I poured the excess liquid on top of the bread and put it the oven. turned out great - 7/18/15

Perfect! Love the density of the amount of vanilla and cinnamon in there for flavor. I just used 1 real egg and everything turned out great. - 1/29/13

Very yummy! I made enough to feed the family and they all loved it! I used Healthy Life bread (35 cal/slice) and couldn't taste a difference! i also used Vanilla silk, cinnamon and nutmeg. didn't have egg beaters, so I sub'd egg whites and a couple whole eggs. Going to try to freeze the rest! - 1/25/09

Try using sara lee 35 calorie bread! The calories drop but he taste is still so good.
I also subbed the milk for for sugar free almond mink (35 calories per cup)
Ever calorie counts when you get to those final 15 lbs. - 9/28/14

I tweaked the recipe a little, I used egg whites, fat free milk and cinnamon. I didn't see any need for the other ingredients. And this turned out very well. - 1/17/09

I have never put sugar in my french toast batter, it's already sweet enough I find. Instead of syrup I use yogurt and fruit.

I used a real egg, nutrition wise, a real body needs what's in the whole egg, don't continue to be fooled. - 10/3/16

Couldn't you use Healthy Lifestyle Whole Wheat bread? For 2 slices of bread total calories are only 70, and carbs are only 16. Nutmeg is also good on French Toast. - 7/26/15

Very good recipe....didn't have any egg beaters so I used 2 EB's regular eggs.
In my opinion they are 2nd best to egg beaters. - 1/8/14

I like to use just the egg beaters, a little lite soy milk, and add some nutmeg and cinnamon on the toast when it is done. Drizzle a little sugar free syrup on, and it is fantastico! - 1/23/09

Thanks for the conversion from Egg Beaters to real eggs. I'm glad there is portion control built into this recipe. I used real butter and confectioners sugar on mine. It was fabulous. - 5/8/20

Skip splenda and egg beaters--too many chemicals for me. - 11/20/17

I made this french toast yesterday. Great and simple to make and nice and tasty. My friend came over and she loved it too. Sent her home with the recipe. Thanks for sharing. - 10/30/17

With whole eggs, I didn't need the splenda, or any other sugar stuff. - 9/26/17

No use whole egg whole fat milk because they're not bad for you and Don and sugar because French toast doesn't need it with cinnamon and vanilla and eggs and milk - 7/19/17

This recipe needs to be re-done: the calories don't match with the ingredients. - 5/8/17

For french toast, I use real eggs (1 egg=one protein exchange), one 1oz slice of really stale bread (= one bread exchange), and 1/4 cup of whole milk is 1/4 of a milk exchange and only 13 optional calories out of 100/day. It's one of the few things that doesn't need lightening. - 5/8/17
