I made it with almond, sunflowers seeds, dried cranberries, dates and sesame seeds, I added a tsp. of honey, and they are wonderful... My husbands sweet tooth is satisfied. Cookie sheet worked better for me, I lined it and covered it with wax paper and use rolling pin to flatten. Thanks for sharing - 4/26/13

This recipe was so easy to prepare. I added 1 Tsp of water to get the mixture to stick together, and spinkeled some carob piece on top for a little crunch. So good, thank you for sharing this recipe. - 6/24/10

I made 2 batches today. One was with cashews and craisins and the other one was by the directions. Both turned out fantastic. Quick and easy. This is for a pot luck later today. Mmmm good. - 5/15/14

I need some help. I had a diabetic seizer this week and my memory is very foggy still...Can't understand things well yet. My question is...on this recipe do you put flour in it? - 5/15/13

Wonderful! At first I didn't think it would stick together but if you keep mixing it will eventually form a ball in the food processor and will then hold together. - 2/8/13

I will definitely make these again. I used cashews rather than walnuts (allergic). I also used dried cranberries instead of raisins because that was what I had. I did have to add a bit of water so the mixture would bind together. - 5/21/12

this recipe is just so yummy! I added a bit of cashew butter, shaped in saran and wrapped then put it in freezer, when cold, I cut it into bars. They were amazing and very addictive were alot like a lara bar. I have made these several times!!!! - 5/20/12

I used almonds in lieu of walnuts and dried figs for the raisins. My figs were dry so I added a fourth cup of water. Tasty! - 10/5/09

This looks amazing! But can i use a mill or blender instead? I don't have a food processor :(. - 6/28/09

Not sure if a blender would work, since the dried fruit is pretty thick, but I bet a mill would work great!

This is great, my son is has all sorts of allergies and this would be perfect for him. Most of the gluten free cookies I find at the store he absolutely hates, but I can't wait for him to try this :) - 5/21/09
