Original recipe 1 cabbage, 6 onions, 1 bunch celery, 1 bunch green onions, 48 oz. V8, 6 crushed garlic cloves, 2 green peppers + the rest above. Original makes 20 servings (takes two pots until veggies cook down) - best to freeze & have leftovers! I make w/o onion soup mix - 7/15/13

Good soup but shouldn't have a vegetarian tag with the chicken involved. I used vegetable stock cubes instead. - 8/7/11

Good soup! It makes SO much though! However, it can go into the freezer and crockpot back up at a later date.

I added two packets of the onion soup mix, extra garlic, cayenne and chipotle pepper to add a kick to it. Very good and filling on a cold winters eve! - 12/19/10
