These are quite good, but I recommend eliminating the water and slightly increasing the peanut butter and honey instead. I found the water gave it a weird gumminess and I liked it much better without, and you can also skip heating it. Also very good with a little ground flax seed or puréed raisins. - 12/30/12

Love it...love it...love it! Simple and easy to make. I used 6 TBSP of water, crunchy PB and omitted the cocoa. However, I added ground cinnamon and red pepper to give it a little kick. I am a chocoholic and this is perfect for those cravings. Next time I will add the cocoa powder. - 12/2/12

Happily surprised! I am excited to replace my processed protein bar with this recipe. It is delicious and filling. Changes made: 4Twater, 2T honey, substituted almond butter for peanut butter. Can't wait to try some more variations (add vanilla flavor, different nut butters, etc.) - 7/26/12

I liked the fact that there wasn't a lot of ingredients and that it was fairly easy 2 make. The 1st time I made these, I used the 9x9 pan but it was sorta messy when I wud cut...and I also learned that they shud b KEPT REFRIGERATED!!!!! This time around I used a tin foil muffin pan which is better. - 7/23/12

These taste great, are easy to make, and are very portable. When I make a batch, after chilling I cut them into the 12 servings and put each in sandwich baggies and leave in the front of the refrigerator. Then we can each grab one on the way out in the mornings and eat on the go! - 1/19/13

I found this recipe to be very easy & simple to make. I didn't have any all natural peanut butter so I used Skippy which was all I had. I ended up using 6 tablespoons of water but other than that change it turned out awesome. I've made protein bars before and the taste was off but this is wonderful. - 1/30/13

I just made these - took no time! I heated only the honey (because it had hardened in the container). I pressed the mixture into a 9 x 9 pan, divided it into 12 squares with my rubber spatula and put the pieces into a tupperware container separated with plastic. No water, and they held together well - 1/30/13

Very tasty! This was really easy for those who do not like to or are learning to cook. I used 6TBSP water and they were still a bit dry, but the recipe says they should be crumbly. Taste was really good and rich! I used melted 90% cocoa square instead of unsweetened cocoa because that's what I had. - 12/28/12

I had to make it without whey powder. As my oats were running low and my cholesterol is high, I replaced most of the oats with oat bran, and put in a little milk kefir instead of water. Tastes OK. Is now in the freezer to cool down. I may cut it smaller and use it as chocolates.Cld hv added nuts - 12/27/12
