I make this but don't use any sugar just warm up apple juice with cranberry juice and put in the cinnamon sticks and I keep it in the fridge and then just warm up one cup at a time. If I was going to sweeten it I would use a bit of honey. - 12/24/13

This one is a five star one for me.....and I am diabetic. Just used sugar free juices, and Splenda brown sugar. Almost totally sugar free...and calorieless! Something really special for Christmas morning. - 12/21/14

The only change I made wasto use Splenda Brown Sugar and the amount is based on the sweetness of the juices. - 12/24/13

As a diabetic, the carbs are a bit much. I use the sugar-free cranberry juice and leave out the brown sugar, it tastes really good with the cinnamon and cloves when warm. - 12/24/13

Quite high in carbs but festive looking and tastes good. Subbing sweetners would help but will limit to an occasional special holiday treat. - 12/24/13

@1AVERY and I do this the same. It was great to see the recipe online with the calories attached. I leave out the added sugar as well, I like the cranberry, apple, cinnamon and clove flavor as is. - 1/8/19
