i poured a cup of chicken broth and cut up celery on the bottom before placing chicken cutlets on top and added ore chicken broth on top. the chicken still came out a tad dry. will have to add more liquid next time. - 10/15/12

This was really good, found that bottom of chicken was dry, so next time I'm going to put 1/3 of stuffing mix on the bottom first. - 5/1/08

Just made this yesterday and liked how it turned out. Added a layer of mushrooms and sliced onion to under the chicken and chopped celery, onions and mushrooms to the stuffing mix. I used all chicken broth instead of water. It was a little bland, so will add poultry seasoning next time. - 11/12/13

Awesome! I followed another reviewers advice and put a layer of onion under the chicken. I also added onion and celery to the stuffing mix. I didn't mix the 1/2 cup broth in with the stuffing, i poured it around the side of the crock so it all stayed moist but didnt make my stuffing mushy - 9/14/12

So Good! My husband loved it too! Used really thick organic chicken, low sodium box of stovetop, some extra unseasoned bread stuffing, minced garlic, 3/4 soup can of water, cream of chicken soup and 1/4 can of chicken broth. Cooked on High for 5 hours. - 6/18/10

It was great! Seemed a bit too salty for us...next time I will use water instead of chicken broth. Stuffing was really moist and yummy. We used chicken leg quarters, too. Yummo! - 1/27/10

I used 6.1 lbs of chicken, a whole onion and package of baby Bella mushrooms. It was bland so we added celery salt, oregano, paprika, thyme - much more flavorful. The next time I make this I will be using 2 boxes of stuffing as the flavor and gooey texture of that ingredient got lost. - 1/23/16

In my crock pot now. From the other posts I read that the bottom chicken was sort of dried I put about half a can of chicken broth in AFTER everything else was done. I didn't have anything to layer the bottom so I'm hoping it will help keep the chicken moist. We'll see. - 2/12/13

Love this one! I always add a bunch of baby Bella mushrooms under the stuffing and they add more moisture. Only takes my crock 5 hours on low for this dish since stuffing acts like a blanket. Enjoy - 8/9/12

I made this two nights ago and tasted it for the first time tonight. It was bad!!! Ick!!! However, I will not rate this because I deviated from the original recipe. I used Wheat Stove Top and water instead of chicken broth. I will rate it after I used regular Stove Top and chicken broth. Do over!!! - 11/3/11

This just the thing when you want something yummy but don't have the time to put together a complicated recipe. I'm going to put it together on the stove top tonight because I have leftover cooked chicken. And I'll still have plenty of time to quilt, thanks to this recipe! - 8/20/11

I made this last night and it was delicious! I used a half cup of chopped onions under the chicken and added 1/4 cup of water after all ingredients were in the pot. The chicken was moist and tender! Thanks for the recipe. - 7/14/11

It was very good, but the stuffing bunt around the edges. I will make it again! - 2/22/11

Made this, added some rosemary and a little onion. It tasted good but I cooked in too long. The chicken was overcooked and the stuffing was very mushy. I have a long workday so 11 hrs was too long to cook on low. I need to get a Crock Pot that will go to "warm" after a few hrs. - 9/13/10

I made this using low sodium chicken broth and low sodium stuffing, and added a little extra broth. It was delicous served with a side of steamed veggies. - 5/26/10

This was ok. The stove top stuffing mix wasn't that good.

I made this for lunches this week. Came out a little dry. I think next time I'll add onions, garlic and a little more water with cheese for the top. - 12/5/11
