Ingredients
-
1.5 cups flour
1.25-1.5 cups water? (add to flour while mixing until smooth and not too sticky texture)
1lb+ beef (estimated 20oz because we used 1lb roughly but had leftover dough for about 6 more buuz)
small amount of minced onion - put .5cup probably less...
1 clove minced garlic
salt and pepper (not included in nutrition facts - not added this time but it's usually done!)
Directions
Mince filling ingredients (meat, onion - mix and season)
Make flour - water (whatever amount makes the dough feel right!)+flour until well mixed, don't overwork so that it becomes tough, but make sure it's smooth. Let rest for at least 5 min.
Roll flour into tubes about a quarter in circumference, and then tear off bits about 1.5-2" long ish.
Roll into little circles, make thicker in the middle and very thin on the edges.
Place meat in middle of circle and pinch edges around on top, leaving a small opening in the middle to vent.
Steam for close to 20min until done.
Is commonly eaten w/ ketchup.
