Ranchero Turkey and Quinoa Skillet

Introduction

Ground turkey with veggies and chili powder served with quinoa. Ground turkey with veggies and chili powder served with quinoa.
Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    1 cup Quinoa
    1 lb raw Ground Turkey
    1 Large Sweet Red Pepper, chopped
    2 clove Garlic, crushed
    1 tbsp Chili powder
    1 Jalapeno Pepper, sliced
    1 cup frozen peas
    1 cup fresh salsa

Directions

Brown turkey, pepper and garlic over medium heat for 8-10 minutes or until turkey not pink.

Drain then season with chili powder

Add quinoa, continue on medium heat until rice is hot

Add peas and salsa, heat through and serve

Serving Size: makes 4 servings
