Turkey and Dumplings - crockpot

Easy to throw together Turkey and Dumplings recipe.



Ingredients

    2 packages of Jennie-O turkey (cooked), 2 cans of frozen biscuits, olive oil, onion, garlic, water, basil, thyme, lemon rind


Directions

Put onion, water, bouillon cubes, basil, lemon rind, turkey breast (with gravy), and canned soup in crockpot. Cook on high for 4 hours. During last half hour or so, cut canned biscuit dough into strips and lay on top of mixture until biscuits are cooked through.

You can also do this on the stove top by cooking everything in the pan until it comes to a boil. Once it does, reduce heat, separate the biscuits and cut into strips and lay it on top. Cover, reduce heat, and simmer until biscuits are cooked through.
