This was wonderfull! Iput some grilled chicken on a flat out bread and topped it with this yummy. I have already made this twice this week what a great way to get in the healthy fats.
    Thanks - 11/14/08

Lovely! I used the juice of the whole lime, and added a good seasoning of garlic powder, cumin, salt, and a pinch of cayenne (no jalapeno). Nice! Makes about a cup and a half, so the serving size is about 6 servings of 4 tbsp each. Great with blue corn chips. - 5/25/08

Very simple and yummy! I had leftover salsa so I just threw it in there instead of the jalapeno and it was so good. It's Football time so bring out the "Guacamole". - 10/3/10

Good stuff! We have eaten it on turkey and egg breakfast sandwiches, regular sandwiches and on top of grilled burgers! - 7/6/10

I haven't made this yet. sound good however I have problems with portion control and I can see myself eating more than one portion of this. - 3/28/08

Delicious and fresh tasting! I don't know about 6 servings though, I think it's only one! LOL - 3/4/13

Delicious and easy! I was leery of the raw onions, but I diced it fine. The lime juice gives this a nice punch. - 8/16/12

Excellent; I like not having to add any additional product to keep it from turing brown. This had a great color even to the next day--not that there was that much left. - 7/8/12

This is how we also make it, except we add chopped garlic. De-lish!! Try also with chipotle peppers. - 3/28/08

Leave out the cilantro (or not). Add some garlic powder or very finely minced garlic. Add some finely chopped onion instead of the chopped white onion. Lemon juice works if you don't have lime juice. - 4/28/16

I have made this several times, except I use green onions and green chilies instead of the hotter one. I like mild. I usually eat half of this recipe in one sitting...and include it in my tracking. So worth it on my celery...much less calories than peanut butter! - 3/5/16

I don't understand how this is less calories than any other guacamole recipe. Am I missing something? - 7/2/13

I've got an even easier way to make fresh guac: take 1 medium to large avocado and 1-2 Tbsp of your favorite salsa. Dash of salt, maybe a squeeze of lime, mash/mix together and voila! Fresh GUAC!!! - 5/9/13

Recipe is great! I add a little sour cream to mine to make it creamier (and expand it for parties), and I blend the onion rather than chop it. - 8/22/08

I've a similar recipe except that I add garlic, cumin and chili powder to it as well. BTW the serving size is way off. There's no way one avocado can serve 6 people. I can only imagine 3 avocados serving 6-8 people provided there are other things to eat. - 5/23/08

This was really good - I made with red onion and bumped up the cilantro - so it was a little more spicy :) - 4/3/08
