Made this recipe but used fat free cream cheese instead. Next time will add some veggies and spices in the cheese and see how it turns out. - 2/9/10

I have made somewhat the same for a while. Be carefull when you cut the perppers--use plastic glovesI I boil the cut peppers in water that has a teasp.. of sugar ( so they stay nice and green. only for about 1-2 min. drain well.
We use the cream cheese but add some grated low fat Jalapeno - 12/31/07

Good, basic recipe. I added a half teaspoon of garlic powder and about a quarter cup of shredded cheese. Cut the turkey bacon length wise as another poster suggested, getting two strips from one piece. - 8/4/20

These poppers are wonderful!! I've made them a few times, and I'm making them tonight for our New Years Eve get together. Thanks for the recipe. - 12/31/08

This is good!!! I've made them the healthy way and the naughty way. "Use gloves" is the best advice!! I had all kinds of reactions once. I friend of mine mixes crab meat. I'll definately try the cheddar cheese. I usually cook them on a Forman. - 5/25/08

I've made this several times. some changes i've made I use whipped cream cheese (it's easier use to stuff them with) and I also use 1/2 pc of turkey bacon to wrap around the pepper. Instead of cutting the bacon across for 2 short pieces I cut length wise up the middle to get a longer piece. - 5/13/08

I make these all the time, but I stuff the peppers with a mixture of lowfat creamcheese and shredded cheddar cheese. They're phenomenal! I also use at least 1/2 a slice of turkey bacon because 1/3 won't wrap all the way around. - 10/4/07

Good. I think maybe my jalapenos were large or something because 1/3 piece of turkey bacon was not enough to wrap around a pepper. I ended up using 1/2 piece per pepper. I think I might try these on the grill next time (with toothpicks to hold the bacon on the peppers). - 9/1/07
