I made this yesterday as a "cook-ahead" meal for the week. It is wonderful!! I did not use the sesame seeds because I did not want my mother who has diverticulosis to have sesame seeds. So, I added a tablespoon of Sesame Tahini to intensify flavor and 3 chopped scallions to intensify color. - 1/19/09

This was excellent. I added about 1 Tblsp of honey at the end and it gave it a nice sweetness. Served over brown basmati rice - good flavors. Will try frying and tossing in the leftovers tomorrow. - 6/6/09

I made this for dinner last night... it does not live up to the other member's ratings. Very bland. - 2/5/09

Very yummy! I added chopped carrots during the stir fry of the meat and served it with ramen on the side. The best home made take out ever! - 1/6/09

Sounds great! Can't wait to try it. I think I will add a little honey to add a little sweetness just like authentic Sesame Chicken. Thanks for the recipe! - 1/5/09

This was great. I cooked rice and threw it in with the chicken. Added a little more soy sause to flavor the rice. Mixed together. Added La Choy chow mein noodles to garnish. Will be making this again! - 8/18/08

I don't think the calories are correct for this item. 1lb of chicken is about 750 calories, and by the time you add the other ingredients in I doubt It's going to be so low. Still sounds good though and is much healthier than take out. - 7/15/08

It was delicious! I did not have any onion powder, and it was fine without it! Delicious over brown rice with broccoli. Defiantly will make this again. - 12/16/07

This recipe while really good was a little lacking.. it was so dry, no sauce at all! That was a little disappointing. I don't think I'll make it again, too dry to be sesame chicken. =/ - 1/19/10

We made this and it was really good. I thought it would have characteristics of restaurant style sesame chicken, but it has nothing sweet. It was still really good with some brown rice. - 6/3/08

This was GREAT! I really enjoyed this chicken and so did my 18 month old. I think next time I will use low sodium soy sauce because the taste was a little salty for me but it was so good! - 5/26/08
