Very yummy - my picky eater (13 yr old daughter) LOVED it. I chopped the veggies up pretty small to hide them mwahaha - 6/17/10

Whatever gets those veggies into the kids is great! Glad you enjoyed the recipe.

This was fabulous! As a South Louisiana girl, I was wondering how I would cook traditional La dishes without my (delicious, but nothing close to healthy) roux. This is my answer! The only change I made is using vegetable broth instead of the chicken broth. Thanks so much for this recipe - 11/15/08

I am quite flattered to have such a comment from a LA girl! I'm glad you liked it!

I have been craving a seafood dish even though I am NOT a seafood fan. I think my body needed it or something. Anyway, I decided on this one. i really wasn't sure what to expect, but I was ASTOUNDED at how good it was! Even my kids ate it. They don't eat anything! We wil make it again. - 10/22/08
