Thie receipe is very good. This is actually lazy man galumpkies which is a polish meal. I added ground turkey. Next time I'm going to reduce the amount of rice (1 1/2 c.) and add more cabbage along with a can of tomato sauce for a little more flavor. Thank you for sharing. Tastes great. - 3/3/09

Loved this! Very tasty. I think I will also try using barley or bulgar instead of the rice. - 1/19/09

why bother with the slow cooker since the meal is already cooked? - 3/16/14

I made a half recipe with lentils instead of brown rice (quicker cooking...) The one thing my son and I both agreed on is that it needed more zing. If I'd had sauerkraut, I would have added that, but since I didn't, I added a couple diced pepperocini and some of its juice. Much better. - 3/9/09

Very good but also very bland (but we used ground turkey instead of the sausage as we had none on hand). Next time definitely need to cut down on the size as we have so much left over for just my husband and I. - 10/31/10
